1) Striking isn't consistent with its aims


On your first issue. Of course you are right that some people in front line emergency jobs don't participate fully in the action. But actually many people in these jobs do take action of some sort. It appears that Julian Huppert is yet another one who does not understand the basic issues around the Postal Service.  He says in his response below that the volume of mail is dropping.   This is wrong on two accounts.
